Fantastic initiative. Read All About – Fast Grants.
This launched just days ago, and it appears to offer the fastest science grants in modern history. From the website: “If you are a scientist at an academic institution currently working on a COVID-19 related project and in need of funding, we invite you to apply for a Fast Grant. Fast Grants are $10k to $500k, and decisions are made in under 48 hours.” Please forward this to any scientists who might be interested. The grants are currently supported by John Collison (@collision), Patrick Collison (@patrickc), Paul Graham (@paulg), Reid Hoffman (@reidhoffman), Fiona McKean (@FionaMcK) and Tobias Lütke (@tobi), Yuri (@yurimilner) and Julia Milner, and Chris and Crystal Sacca (@sacca and @crystale).
